Elvis is still The King: His story in three parts
THERE'LL be not one but three Elvis's in the building at Twin Towns on Saturday night.
Elvis - An American Trilogy, is a three-part musical journey covering three generations of Elvis and starring three of the world's leading Elvis tribute artists.
Elvis Presley was one of the biggest and most important stars of the 20th century pop culture; a music icon and a man who will forever be the King of Rock and Roll.
In the American Trilogy show at Twin Towns, stars Vic Trevino Jnr, Gino Monopoli and Greg Miller bring the music of the King back to life.
Vic Trevino embodies the rockabilly sound and raw dance moves of the young and dynamic Elvis from the early years of his music career.
Gino Monopoli recreates the sophisticated sound of Elvis' movie years with the costumes, songs and Hollywood influence that took Elvis to the big screen in iconic films such as GI Blues, Kid Gallahad and Speedway.
Greg Miller expertly recreates Elvis in the famous White Eagle Jumpsuit days. He recreates the Seventies with the moves, songs and nuances that made Elvis the most recognisable figure in music history. Greg was the only Elvis impersonator to have known the real Elvis personally.
Elvis - An American Trilogy comes to the Twin Towns Showroom on Saturday 25 August; Tickets cost $50. To book, call the Booking Office on 1800 014 014; head to www.twintowns.com.au and book online; or go to the Twin Towns app.
